I played allot with my discord team, but i think its not good enough... it can be better. Thats why i came up with a new group of heroes, including GWEN. Almost nobody uses her, but im doing. im looking for some input for a build, with the elite skill Visions of Regret. Please experienced players help me out, because I almost no nothing aboout mesmers..

Lets say i got this (made it myself ;D)
1. Cry of Frustration
2. Power spike
3. Drain enchantment
4. Power drain
5. Backfire
6. Empathy
7. VoR
8. Res

Less ppl use Norgu than Gwen.

On topic, heroes run Arcane Echo like ass. Don't be surprised if it ends up getting cancelled by leech signet or turns into a rez half the time.

Also, if you already have Backfire in your group, empathy won't be all that necesary. I'd almost recommend power leech as your elite since you already have points in inspiration.

Whats the point ? interrupting and drain ench from foes? or just want some utilities + interrupts ?

Just to spam [[Splinter Weapon] and [[Ancestors' Rage]. Those two skills can beat PvE by themselves so the rest can be any other optional supports you want.

1. Razzy with 14 in Chan is a better option for Splinter spam.
2. IF he even wants Splinter spam on a what seems to be a full caster team.

That's where loading up some random wiki build fails.

If I put splinter weapon on gwen, (I use a MM, would she use splinter weapon automatically on the minions?).

Im trying something else then triple necro, and trying to put a VoR mesmer in WITH 2 necro;s, I now got a AotL MM, and a IV healer, but what should u do as third?

To my knowledge, heroes don't throw Splinter on minions.

Well, the options that work obscenely good are:
1. ER protter - something in the lines of this:

2. Spirit Spammer

(look at the optional skill to fill the slots - Bloodsong should be on that bar though!)

While its true that it would be better as Rt/Me, but then it wouldn't be a mesmer.

I was under the impression that they did, but if not, you could always micro it or not use the build. If you want [[Visions of Regret] and you're in Nightfall, you could always take Odurra since she has it and use another hero.

AoE interrupts and godly energy management ftw on Gwen, really. Tease is a great option for a hero's elite. When running a physical team you could give her 12 smiting and stick SoH; she can maintain well.

I alter that version dependin on the zone im in by switching to Power return ( interrupt machine ) instead 1 and using 5, 7 and 8 slots to diff utilities like some hex removal , ench removal or secondary P for fast Res .

This is what I use on Gwen. It has great energy management, damage and utility, and the hero AI really uses it well. You can use Artificer's Insignia to get +9 armor too.

They're interrupt/support bots. They'll "co-op" with anything.

SS is basically the perfect role for you since you can cast it on good targets and change priority. Otherwise if you run with more physicals you can run the n/a promise nuker build. Mark of pain with vanguard sin etc.
